Application Overview
Dacheng galvanized steel silos are widely used in the rice storage industry, supporting large-scale rice processing plants and national rice reserve institutions. Considering the fragility of rice grains and their susceptibility to breakage during descent, the standard capacity of rice silos is controlled within 1500 tons.
In high-temperature regions, insulated silos are preferred to mitigate the problem of grain bursting due to excessive internal temperature. If customers plan to build large-capacity rice silos, we recommend configuring insulation layers and anti-drop breakage buffer devices to reduce the breakage rate of rice grains upon entering the silo, minimize grain bursting, and effectively improve the finished rice yield in the subsequent milling process. We recommend prefabricated conical-bottom silos, constructed with high-quality hot-dip galvanized steel plates.
The entire system features intelligent ventilation, constant temperature and humidity control, grain condition monitoring, dust removal, and automated feeding and discharging systems, as well as a grain unloading system. It precisely controls the internal temperature and humidity, inhibiting rice heating, mold growth, and the breeding of insects and rodents. Conical-bottom silos unload cleanly and are suitable for rice mill cyclical production; the silos utilize modular prefabricated construction, resulting in a compact footprint and short installation period.
